Yes. Every Ozone Spirit system we carry is a heat pump, providing both air conditioning in summer and heat in winter from the same equipment. For Acadiana winters, a mini split will carry a room on its own without backup heat.

SEER2 is the current federal standard for rating cooling efficiency. It replaced the older SEER rating in 2023, and it tests equipment against more realistic airflow conditions.

Because the test is stricter, the same equipment scores roughly 4–5% lower under SEER2 than it did under SEER. Every system we stock is a high-efficiency inverter unit, rated meaningfully higher than minimum-efficiency central systems. Ask us for the current SEER2 rating on the model you’re picking up.

The 12K system is available in 110V or 220V. The 18K, 24K and 36K systems are 220V. If you’re not sure what’s available where the unit will go, text us a photo of your electrical panel and we’ll tell you.

They’re among the more approachable HVAC installations — about a 3-inch wall penetration, a lineset connection at each end, an evacuation, and power. Our Support Center has a full step-by-step installation video and written overview.

That said, it does require vacuum equipment and care at the flare connections. If you’d rather have it done, any licensed HVAC technician can install it.

Every system we sell carries an 8-year compressor warranty and a 1-year parts warranty.

No. Our systems are single-zone — one condenser paired to one indoor head. To condition several rooms you’d use a separate system in each, which also gives every room its own independent temperature control.

All systems include: the air handler, condenser, 10′ communication cable, 10′ copper lineset, remote, UV tape, perforation sealant and wall cap.

Need a longer run? We stock 25′ lineset kits, along with condenser brackets and 3″ lineset cover kits.

Yes — the condensing unit is pre-charged with R32 refrigerant. The linesets are pre-flared with brass nuts ready to be torqued down, so you’ll need to pull a vacuum on the lineset to remove moisture before releasing the pre-charged refrigerant into the system.
