About us
A Lafayette family business.
We’re Nick and Chelsey Roberie, Lafayette-area professionals who discovered mini split air conditioners and quickly became convinced they were the future of efficient heating and cooling.
With backgrounds rooted in customer service and professionalism, we always wanted to build a business of our own that could serve our local community. Acadiana Mini Splits grew from that goal into a family-run business supplying mini split systems directly to homeowners and HVAC professionals throughout the area.
We have two young boys who you may even find helping load units on the weekends. Whether you’re a homeowner buying your first mini split or a contractor picking up several, our goal is simple: treat you fairly, earn your trust, and make doing business with Acadiana Mini Splits easy.
Why mini splits
Why homeowners and pros keep choosing us
Energy Efficient
Our high-efficiency inverter mini splits offer significantly higher rated cooling efficiency than minimum-efficiency central systems. Inverter technology allows the system to adjust its output as cooling demand changes rather than constantly cycling at full capacity.
Quiet Operation
With the compressor located outside, mini splits provide much quieter indoor operation than window units.
Sleek, Modern Design
Clean, wall-mounted equipment provides heating and cooling without a bulky window or floor unit.
Keep Your Window
Installation requires only about a 3-inch wall penetration for the refrigerant lines and connections instead of sacrificing an entire window.
Heating + Cooling
Every mini split we carry is a heat pump, providing both air conditioning and heat from one system.
Better Humidity Control
Inverter systems can operate for longer periods at reduced output, helping remove moisture and maintain more consistent indoor comfort.

Great units. They work well and are reasonably priced. Service was amazing. Very easy business transaction. Hired an installer to do my first then got brave and installed the next one myself. Highly recommended.
They were very professional and nice. The prices was the best I found. Many thought it was not real. Lol. System works great. They also provided support when needed. I would recommend to everyone that's looking for a mini split system to get with them.
Nick was a joy to work with prior to purchase and install on my new mini split. Highly recommend doing business with him for your mini split needs!!
Very professional company to deal with! The owners are very attentive and products are always in stock. One of the great things about the company is they will also deliver within a certain radius.
Excellent customer service very informative even after purchasing I had a few questions called and they were very helpful and supportive during the entire installation. I purchased the 36,000 BTU Ozone Spirit for my walk in cooler 10’x40’ and put the coolbot system on it. Everything worked out flawlessly couldn’t have asked for better! Install was a breeze very simple great product and great folks. Yall be sure to give them a chance to earn your business. I’ll be buying another unit for a cooler we are adding on in a month or 2
